Why I Stopped Trying to Eat Perfectly And What I Do Instead
Let be real for a second. Whenever someone used to tell me to eat healthy, I pictured sad, dry salads and boiled vegetables Ugh No thanks.
For the longest time, I thought taking care of my body meant giving up all the foods I actually liked, I would try a strict diet, fail after three day, and then feel terrible about myself.
But recently, I changed my mindset completely. I realized that healthy eating doesn't have to be perfect'
Here are a few super easy changes I made that actually stuck.
1. Ditching the All or Nothing ,Rule
I used to ruin a whole day of eating just because I had a piece of chocolate. I would think, Well my diet is ruined, might as well eat junk food all day. Now I just eat the chocolate and move on. Ii s about balance, not punishing yourself.
2. My Ultimate Snack Swap
I love snacking while working, instead of keeping chips or cookies on my desk, I started keeping roasted almonds and dark chocolate.
It totally kills my cravings and the best part is I dont get that weird lazy feeling at 3 PM anymore
3. Making Water Less Boring
We all know we need to drink more water ,But honestly plain water gets so boring sometimes. My lazy trick I just toss a few slices of lemon or cucumber into my water bottle in the morning. It feels a little fancy, and I end up drinking way more throughout the day without even trying.
You really don't need a crazy expensive diet plan to be healthy. Just start with one small change'
