Ces carottes rôties au miel et à l'ail sont cuites à la perfection.

C'est un plat d'accompagnement parfait pour ma poitrine de dinde à l'ail et aux herbes, mon jambon glacé au miel à la mijoteuse ou mon rôti de faux-filet en croûte d'herbes.

Rôtir les légumes est ma façon préférée de les cuisiner. Il fait toujours ressortir la meilleure saveur.

Surtout les carottes, la torréfaction intensifie simplement la saveur et les rend plus sucrées.

J'adore les servir avec mon poulet au beurre et au miel.

COMMENT FAIRE DES CAROTTES RÔTIES AU MIEL ET À L'AIL ?

Étape 1 : Pelez et coupez les carottes : Pelez et coupez en morceaux de 3 pouces. Couper les morceaux épais en deux.

Étape 2 : Faire fondre le beurre : Dans une grande poêle allant au four, faire fondre le beurre.

Étape 3 : Ajouter l'ail et le miel : Fouetter l'ail émincé et le miel.

Étape 4 : Ajouter les carottes : mélanger les carottes avec le mélange de miel et d'ail jusqu'à ce qu'elles soient bien enrobées.

Étape 5 : Cuire jusqu'à tendreté, puis griller pour caraméliser si désiré.

Étape 6 : Garnir de persil frais haché.

CONSEILS DE RECETTE

1. J'aime utiliser une poêle en fonte et la mettre directement au four. Si vous n'avez pas de poêle allant au four, transférez-la dans un plat allant au four.

2. Essayez de garder vos carottes de la même taille pour une cuisson uniforme.

3. Je ne recommande pas d'utiliser des mini-carottes, elles n'ont pas autant de saveur que les carottes entières.

PUIS-JE LES PRÉPARER À L'AVANCE ?

Oui, faire ces carottes rôties au miel et à l'ail à l'avance, c'est un énorme gain de temps. Vous pouvez les réchauffer au micro-ondes ou au four à 300 degrés pendant 15 minutes.

COMMENT CONSERVER LES CAROTTES RÔTIES

Conserver dans un contenant hermétique pendant 2 à 3 jours au réfrigérateur.
