•••২০২১ সালে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের ক্যাপিটাল হিলে হওয়া দাঙ্গার ঘটনায় আটকদের মুক্তির দাবি জানিয়েছেন ডোনাল ট্রাম্প। গত ৬ জানুয়ারি হামলার ঘটনায় একজনকে ভুল অভিযোগে আটক করা হয়েছে বলে জানায় দেশটির সুপ্রিম কোর্ট তার কিছু ঘণ্টা পরই ভার্জিনিয়ায় এক নির্বাচনী প্রচারনায় জো বাইডেনকে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের সবচেয়ে দুর্নীতিগ্রস্ত প্রেসিডেন্ট বলে আখ্যা দেন প্রেসিডেন্ট প্রার্থী ও রিপাবলিকান নেতা ডোনাল ট্রাম্প।


••• এছাড়া প্রথম সরাসরি টেলিভিশন বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতায় প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেনকে হারিয়ে খোশমেজাজে বক্তৃতা দেন ট্রাম্প। প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেন এর এলোমেলো জবাব যেমন ট্রাম্প এর মনে খুশীর জোয়ার নিয়ে এসেছে তেমনি এনেছে ড্রেমোক্রিট সমর্থকদের মধ্যে হতাশা।বাইডেন এর পারফরমেন্স এ খুশি নয় অনেক সমর্থক,,কেউ আবার বলছেন বাইডেন এর হয়তো দেশ চালানোর মত এখন আর তেমন অবস্থা নেই,,কেউ কেউ আবার ভবিষ্যত নিয়ে সন্দেহও পোষণ করছেন,, প্রেসিডেন্ট নির্বাচনে এটি ব্যাপক প্রভাব ফেলবে জো বাইডেন এর ক্ষেত্রে তা স্পষ্ট ভাবে চোখে পড়ছে।



•••তবে বিতর্কে কোথায় ট্রাম্প এর কাছে না জিতলেও নির্বাচনে জয় পাওয়ার তীব্র আত্মবিশ্বাস রয়েছে প্রেসিডেন্ট জো বাইডেন এর।
